Rathbun the Helpless

Although Marty Rathbun would like us all to believe that he is trying to help and do good for the world, Marty Rathbun helps no one but himself. Marty thinks that his best camouflage is to point the finger, and accuse others of being unable to help. Rathbun attacks real sources of help with misrepresentations, lies, and alterations of “data”. Marty thinks that the louder he screams about how other are incapable of help, the more believable it will be that he himself can help. This is the only tactic that Marty really has to rely on.

“Some think that help is always an effort to betray. Process them, for here you have the criminals of Earth.

Some people cannot help. They can only injure and destroy. And if in the name of help they only injure and destroy, then know them carefully, for they are criminals.

What is a criminal? One who thinks help cannot be on any dynamic or uses help on anyone to injure and destroy.

Who are these men with covert ways who bring Earth its pain? They are the men who cannot help. Who are the women who must be helped but who can only maim? They say, these men and women, that they’ll help and then they make a thorough shambles of it all.”

By Their Actions

What does Rathbun consider as “help” ?

Parasitically using the discoveries of LRH to create a name and fortune for himself.

Holding “counseling” sessions that lead to broken marriages and homes.

Creating drug reverts.

Marty‘s list goes on and on. Rathbun leaves a wake of destruction behind him wherever he goes. It is in his nature. Rathbun is truly insane if he believes that he is helping anyone.
