WHAT MY SQUIRREL STRATEGY IS BASED ON
by Marty Ratbum
Part 1: Key Datums
I am not surprised that I have gotten away with all my pontifications, rant and ravings, rumormongering lies or what real Scientologists call—entheta or natter.
Nattering and spewing entheta is part of my PR and marketing strategy. However, there is more to it than just that. Yes, there is rip- off and making a buck; however, I won’t deny there’s a vendetta and revenge. But putting all those factors aside, I try to stay focused and not to lose sight of my business goals.
From a marketing perspective, the way I figure it, I’ve got a guaranteed 2½ percent of the market share. Those 2½ percenters want and need natter and entheta. I see even more business when I look at the untapped 20 percent share of the PTSes, out-ethics cats and those who don’t know any better. Then there’s the free advertising and promotion I get from the rumormongering and natterfest media.
I consider myself an expert in wreaking havoc. It has long been my stock in trade so I do it to the best of my ability.
From the outset, let me give you some key datums that I attribute to my success as they are so applicable to me that I find it second nature to apply them.
1.ALWAYS ACCUSE OTHERS OF THOSE THINGS WHICH YOU HAVE DONE OR ARE YOURSELF DOING.
RELENTLESSLY SEEK TO DESTROY ANYONE YOU THINK MIGHT EXPOSE YOU.
2.ALWAYS BAND TOGETHER WITH OTHER CRIMINALS WHO THINK LIKE YOU DO.
4. ALWAYS CONSIDER OTHERS ARE LIKE YOU.
5. DON’T’ WORRY ABOUT GIVING OFF WITHHOLDS BECAUSE YOU AREN’T GOING TO CHANGE YOUR WAYS ANYWAY.
Pivotal to my PR and marketing strategy and campaign is number 4: ALWAYS ACCUSE OTHERS OF THOSE THINGS WHICH YOU HAVE DONE OR ARE YOURSELF DOING.
“The motivations for these acts are a psychotic computation for self preservation: keep enough chaos and threat stirred up in the environment, make myself appear to be a solution to it instead of the instigator of it, and lots of people go down and remain in turmoil while I go unrecognized as the source of it and survive.” – Mark Rathbun
“A squirrel is a person—a person who’s going around looking for nuts that are foolish enough to let him process them”
L. Ron Hubbard, 6 April 1959
